My back against an air balloon
two pebbles in my hand
I see myself afloat
adrift
alone - afraid to fly
will rubber be my friend at sea?
will I remain un-sunk?
The sun alerts me, there is this thing, you see
I knew I’m not alone
waves and water
do not care
If me -, I can’t grow wings
It's not within its scope of time
to dwell on little things
Yet me,
- my red balloon
so wet
so round
so full of air
we keep on drifting
open skies
poor me, I’m in despair
no wings
no scope of time
no nothing
to rely!
just water,
land, the deep blue sea
- and longer prayers to die.
The sun, the red balloons …You will remain un- sunk. Simply breathtaking. Your father is so proud !
This is very beautiful 🎈
